Welcome!
The Universal TCP/IP Network Bootdisk is a DOS
bootdisk that provides TCP/IP networking support. It's designed
for use in Microsoft networking environments, on either peer-to-peer
or domain based LANs. Currently 95 different network
card drivers all included, all on the single 1.44MB disk!
Most people use this bootdisk for "Ghosting" PC's
over a network connection. This disk will provide the DOS
networking and drivers to allow the mapping of a network
drive containing your imaging software and files. TCP/IP
based image transfers, like GhostCast is also supported. About

The day many of you have been waiting for has at long last arrived - the release of a updated NetBootDisk! It’s hard to believe an entire year has slipped away between updates of the disk. This kind of wasn’t intended – busy at work, house stuff, social life but that’s offline life for ya!
This release is highly recommended as there are many driver updates that are critical for any new machines. The complete change log is as follows:
* Added Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 driver (adds support for Asus EEE PC)
* Added Pro 100 auto-detections
* Updated Pro 1000 Driver + PnP auto-detections (the most requested update of them all!)
* Updated Realtek 8169 Driver
* Updated Realtek 8168 Driver
* Updated Realtek 8139 Driver
* Updated Broadcom B57 Driver + PnP auto-detections
* Updated Broadcom Netxtreme II Driver + added PnP IDs
* Updated Marvell Yuken Driver + added PnP ID's,
* Updated Atheros L1 driver
* Updated Atheros L2 driver
* Updated Xircom Cardbus R2BEM56G driver
* Updated nVidia driver + PnP autodetections
* Updated SiS 190/191 driver
* Updated VIA Velocity driver
* Updated VIA Rhine driver
* Updated Build script ZIP.EXE - This should solve the random crash problem during the initial disk build process. When it crashed, command.com wouldn't get added, thus the disk would fail!
* Updated CuteMouse driver
* 3Com 3C940 LOM now auto-detects to use the Marvell driver.
* Renamed Attansic references to Atheros (Atheros now owns Attansic)
* Improved descriptions for many Intel/Broadcom/Marvell network cards, based on info from the Windows INF drivers. This is a purely cosmetic touch, but handy never the less.
* Minor cosmetic changes to Menu
* Minor tweaks to MakeDisk Script
As always thanks to everyone who has been in contact with suggestions and bug reports. Apologies if I have not been able to personally reply to you - but I’ve had over 300 messages to go through which is almost a full-time job in itself :p
Also a big thank you to all the people who have donated and checked out the advertisers on this site.
And finally to the fellow Australians out there – Happy Australia Day mate!!

It's hard to believe that we are on the home run for another calendar year! This year has certinally flown by for me. Earlier in the year I purchased my first home, so that's consumed quite a bit of time with the move and all the DIY projects that's followed. Then of course with my daily work commitments as a college IT admin, offline life, etc - I just haven't got round to updating NetBootDisk.
Ironically, I don't use NetBootDisk all that often myself now. At work, almost all cloning is done with PXE booting in to Ghost Solution Suite. But NetBootDisk is still a PXE bootable menu option* - as it's still handy if you need a DOS only prompt to run a BIOS update or something like that.
*PXELinux+Windows Deployment Services+Ghost Console+Ghost.exe+NetBootDisk+memtest+hdd test utils - all on the one system - perhaps that will be another HowTo on this site
